NTR - GREAT News In Volunteer Land
The bozos are conducting an internal investigation to look at recruiting violations. This means one of three things.

1. There are serious recruiting violations that the NCAA is telling them that they will look into and nail them for.
2. There are recruiting violations that aren't too bad, but they want to go the idiotic UConn route and use them as an excuse to fire Pruitt.
3. There are serious recruiting violations the NCAA will nail them for, AND they are going to fire Pruitt.

All in all, a great day for anyone who hates them, regardless of the outcome. They suck, they have sucked for a long time, they will suck with Pruitt and they will suck after Pruitt.

RE: NTR - GREAT News In Volunteer Land
I hear Gruden is planning on leaving the Raiders and give up his 100mil contract to coach for free at UTk.

Peyton going to be his OC and Saban going to be his DC.

They can hire anyone they want. It's everyone's dream job.

As long as fat phil is involved in the AD, they should always have a giant target on their program.

Very good point. They started the season ranked #15 and ended up 3-7.

They retroactively applied a self imposed bowl ban for the just completed season. This should keep them out of hot water.

I don't like utk, but the truth is this:
NCAA is entirely focused on perpetuating its own existence, i.e.staying alive.

The only way this sham of an organization exists is by hammering on the weak. The strong support this...They don't wanna make room at the big boys' table.

o yeah....What table are we currently seated at.... askin for a friend.

Yeah, Memphian Eric Gray right in the middle of the investigation.
And some people around here wonder why Memphis kids end up in that program year after year, lol.
Memphis HS fb players have an "Open for Business" sign they put out whenever $EC coaches come for a visit.

This also could be related to why the UTK Assistant Coaches politely declined a request from the Admin to take a COVID pay cut this year. They knew this was likely it, so why take less money if you're getting fired at the end of the season anyway.

Imagine committing all these recruiting violations and being the 3rd best FBS team in the state.

It definitely smells like the idiotic Kevin Ollie move by UConn. I don't always have the best sense of smell, but it wouldn't be a crazy coincidence if they go after Tom Herman.
