How did we end up taking so many threes? Part of the game plan, or were those just the open shots available?
They went to zone. Took us longer to adjust than I expected. I haven't watched all of our games this year, but I don't see a "drive & dish" guy like AJ getting us open looks.
We’re relying on our shooting a little more than we should be. Overall we’re still putting forth an awesome product, there were just times when we looked sort of lost tonight. I think that had more to do with this being the first full game without Quan, he seemed to be one of the big leaders in the locker room and obviously on the court, so I think we’re still trying to find an identity after that unfortunate injury.
We only played seven tonight. Depth among our bigs may become an issue. Will Kirkland see the floor or is he the second coming of Beas Hamga?
I withdraw the question. Kirkland played well.

RE: UAB USM basketball What to expect?
Congrats to the Blazers on the sweep. I was hoping my Golden Eagles could get 1 game in B'ham. Our team is still figuring things out and beginning to gel. Of our contributors, we have 2 players that have a year or more of D1 basketball experience coming into this year. I hope and expect USM to continue to improve as the season progresses.
I think Andy Kennedy was a great hire for UAB and expect to see the Blazers at or near the top of CUSA most years with him leading your program. Best of luck the rest of the way. Hope to see you guys again in the CUSA Tourney Finals.

Have they scheduled the ceremony to retire his number yet?

Isn’t there a yearly ceremonial dinner in Judaism named after him already? I get all of them mixed up...

There used to be a really funny video out there where there was the Jaws music playing in the background, culminating in Beas missing a layup in warmups. I couldn't find it though
