If ever there was an individual who should be tried for High Crimes and Misdemeanors, it is Trump.

Yea I would think inciting insurrection would at the very least be a Misdemeanor.

Worst day in US history.

All thanks to the sociopathic-psychopathic-egomaniac Trump and his sycophants.

Just a “peaceful protest”. If you think this the worst day in US history then your knowledge of US history is not too good.

A "peaceful protest" that storms the US Capitol with gas and guns, and forces Senators and US Reps to go into hiding?!

Are you sane?

Did you see the photo of the "protestor" sitting in the chair of the Speaker of the (empty) House?!
Peaceful protest was in quotes because I was parroting the mainstream media. All summer I heard “peaceful protest” while cities burned. And no I do not condone violence and destruction of property. Ever since Trump was elected I kept hearing “not legitimate”. Special prosecutor found no Russian collusion.

No, only every major city in the country. Portland, NYC, Chicago, LA, Detroit, Miami, Cleveland, Nashville, Salt Lake City, Raleigh, Louisville, ATL, Dallas, and other parts of Washington DC..to name a few. Don't cherry pick. "Peaceful protests" went on for over 100 days in this country in 2020. NOW, and only NOW.. you decide to condemn it. I condemn all of it. Not just the portion that suits my side of the aisle.

There was the time they almost stormed the White House, and reporters gloated about Trump hiding... sane sinking feeling that night as I have now.

The vast majority of the protests were peaceful. And of the ones that weren't, we don't know who was actually committing the violence. A lot of it wasn't the BLM protesters. Nor did the BLM protesters ever say they were proud to be involved in rioting and violence.

Again...you seem to be equating protests in cities with storming the capital while Congress was in session and the VP, VP-elect, Senators, & Congresspeople were all in the building. Additionally, the President held a rally this morning and told his minions to march to the capital.

Sad, what a waste of her life, for nothing but to be a punchline for American history.

Surprised that Trump's most loyal defender of Trumpism on this board, Brovol, hasn't made an appearance. Maybe he hasn't returned from the NY Eve party at Mar-a-Lago.
Trumpers own what has happened today because for 4 years, they sat with lockjaw every time Trump did one outlandish act after another. Bunch of sycophants!

RE: Democracy under attack
This is on trump and portion of his supporters who were in DC. But this is a DIVIDED country. It’s been getting worse for awhile. Half the country hates the other side, half dislikes the other side. This is not a majority. The divided country and this election was leading to this, no matter who won. Imagine for a minute if trump won re election, thing about the riots, the vagi#a rallies, etc that would happen from the other side. Now imagine that the election was overturned and announced that trump won. Think about those riots. We saw a good portion of them all summer long in the major cities and that would be just the beginning. This is just me but a way to unite the country would be for Biden to come out and support trump in the search for a fair election. Biden could prove to all that there was no fraud (cause that’s what’s all Americans want). His support into proving no election fraud would go a long way to healing the divided country. Trump should support a peaceful transition as well.

Biden can then help prove that and then help heal the divided country. He doesn’t have to in normal times, but this is a time of need. There very well could be a type of civil war in the future .

Every state, all 50, have certified their election results.

And even if Biden did what you are saying in good faith, Trump would still claim there was voter fraud. He said months before the election that the only way he could lose is if there were was voter fraud. It’s a self fulfilling prophecy.

BTW...it is very hard to prove something didn’t occur. That is why the burden of proof in the courts is to prove something DID occur. Rudy & his team of incompetent lawyers have tried roughly 60 times to show evidence of fraud. They failed every time.

Literally - physical attack.

You have a very poor and convenient perspective of history this past year if you believe the attack on democracy has come from anyone on the right. But of course, no surprise.

Because the Democrats are saying the entire election was fraudulent (months before the election even started) despite having no evidence that even a Republican-appointed judge would consider worthy of anything?

You are a bozo. I have been , in large part, a serious critic of trump antics which defy practical wisdom, even if I recognize his many accomplishments. You, like others on the left, create your own history in order to fit your f-ed up narratives.

We are all likely going to pay for the poor understanding of right and wrong by you and the rest of your shallow minded pals. And you want to call me out? Please!
