I also received the Moderna last week. My arm hurt for two days but it felt better the more I moved it around. I receive my second injection on the 28th. The lip tingling and tasting metal scared me though. I was afraid I was developing angioedema and I was home alone.

That's a good point actually. There is going to be money to be made filing lawsuits if you feel forced or pressured into taking it. Hopefully, money from side effects and not death.

That is because the first shot has already dialed up your immune system and so you have more of an immune response to the second shot.

Yes, that is my understanding. Just putting it out there for general information. I'm not personally worried about it.

I had round one this afternoon... Feel fine, although there was more burning when they gave it to me vs the standard flu shot (and for longer). Talked to my doctor friend who said it was likely still cold when they injected me.

When I was about 13, I had a dirtbike accident. Cut my butt up pretty good on a broken beer bottle. Got stitches. The stitches hurt pretty good, although dulled by the Lidocaine... BUT THE TETINUS SHOT in my shoulder... I almost came off the table.

Course.... I was 13...
