I lived well under my means and saved a ton of $$ early, invested and easily retired when I turned 56. I could have retired at 42 if I desired. My salary never exceeded $100K either. However, my passive income compounded things immensely in my 30s. It is about discipline and focus...with a dash of good luck to keep you from doing stupid things.

To my young men out there my best advice:
DO NOT GET THE ***** PREGNANT!
DO NOT MARRY BEFORE 28!
DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON CHASING WOMEN!
SH!T TEST THEM EARLY AND DUMP IF THEY FAIL!
