Can't we just fly back home and take on Tulane, whose game vs Temple was also postponed? Then rejigger the schedules as necessary?

This season is so jacked; this crap has to be a net detraction to our program/team...

Things will be much better by March. (They HAVE to be.)
And I'm sure there will be bubble scenarios similar to what we had in So Dakota, where there were no positive tests once play started.
But, yeah, it's going to have to be a forfeit if it does happen. No other way around it.

I guess it only makes sense, now that I think about it. We can’t absorb the travel costs twice, and sense we have an open date close to the game here > get ‘er done.

Not playing Ole Piss and UT and delaying this game and getting two home games out of it, are a really good deal. This puts us in optimal position to improve and make the tournament. I'm not saying we will, but avoiding two probable losses and delaying games while we try to iron out the offense is the best we could have hoped for.

We already traveled there once. They are already going to be here with no additional costs, so it's a smart move. Maybe we subsidize the extra hotel costs. Plus, without fans - or limited at the very best - the home advantage is mostly gone.

I think this type of scheduling could be a thing of the future in college bb. Play UCF here twice in 3-4 days. Then play Tulane twice there. Next year it flip-flops. Would cut travel costs in half, for the post-COVID budgets.
