There is immature and stupid and there are thing like blackface that cross a different line. What age should we allow this type of behavior to occur to? 12? 18? 21? 25? 30? Or should we let employers decide for themselves?

I 100% don’t agree with his choice but at some point I believe if he is sincerely apologetic then their should be forgiveness and life goes on. If we held everyone’s dumb choices against them for the rest of their life well then this world would be a sucky place to live. If an employer is willing to give him a chance and he has changed then I think that’s his and their business and no one else’s.

I’m also not saying if he did it two weeks ago then that’s okay let him get whatever job.

He was let go because it would be used against them n recruiting. As in opposing coach shows pictures of him in blackface and says “do you really want this guy as you position coach”. Dave Aranda just went 2-7 in his first year. He won’t be around much longer unless he turns it around. He can’t afford the risk on a guy who has been on staff one day. In big time college football a head coach make his living coach in large part on his ability to recruit minority players. Same reason Vic Koenning was fired at West Virginia. Because Koenning made statements that would hurt recruiting and 5-7 coaches don’t take that risk. A successful coach who has been at a school for years might but not coaches with losing records

I might be able to pass off Blackface in the 70's when a lot of people did it. But this dude was in college in the last 10 years. That's kinda bad.
