Fulton November Osoff 69.8-28.1 217,000+ Runoff 71.7-28.3 210,000+
Dekalb November Osoff 81.2-16.8 237,000+ Runoff 83.4-16.6 229,000+

Osoff only lost 5,000 of his margin by increasing his % in all these counties. Gwinnett just recently switched over to Dem control and is very well run. Cobb also recently switched and is also pretty well run. Both are 3-2 D on on the County Commissioners. Republicans just didn't get the turnout there.

Fulton and Dekalb are where you expect fraud.

So if I'm reading these numbers correct, what you're saying is that Ossoff didn't really gain that much from November in Atlanta? If that's true, then obviously he gained the votes from the red counties not coming out in as big numbers as they did in November?

Interesting.

My favorite senator — I’m going to miss Kelly Loeffler. Hope she remains in the public spotlight.

She's probably just happy she doesn't have to wear that trucker hat and try to pretend to be "one of the common people" any longer.

You idiots believe the commercials.

She grew up on a family farm. Lots of pictures of her as a kid doing 4-H with other rural kids and with cows and horses. And she obviously was in DC with a bunch of asses.04-cheers

I don’t live in Georgia, so I don’t pretend to know every detail about her. But I give her nothing but the utmost respect for that concession speech. It the right thing to do and I’m sure we’ll see her again.

Hows that signature audit of Fulton County going? Its never ever going to happen and I think everyone knows why.

Yes. In total he lost 160,000 votes from November and Perdue 270,000 votes. But in his big counties he only lost a net 5k. So Perdue lost 115k of his advantage elsewhere in the state.

No seriously, define communism and explain what that has to do with Georgia or our newly elected senators. Go on, explain it to an idiot.

Have you seen the Reverend speak? Have you listened to Osoff's positions (alright-he could be called more of a socialist).

Well my US representative and two senators are 90-100 on a liberal scale.
I'm probably about a 30-35. So its totally useless to communicate with any of them.

Somehow my US representative (who replaced John Lewis) got my e-mail address. I'm very annoyed about that. I suspect it was one of my county commissioners who I've written.

So that's a pass on defining communism? Care to define socialism? Or liken Ossoff's positions to those found in specific socialist nations?

Its funny how you can end up on DC Email lists. I can't stand my Representative, who is far too conservative for my tastes, but I got stuck on his email list because I supported a more moderate GOP official in a local election, and I guess my email got sent along.

He ran unopposed this year, so as long as I live where I do, I know he's not going anywhere.

I think I wrote John Culberson once and got on his e-mail list. Was still on it until he got defeated in 2018 a decade after I moved out of Texas. Wasn't too fond of him but did vote for him. Never voted for Tom Delay when I was in his district.

Can't say I've liked a representative since Bill Archer retired. And I only had him a few years because the Texas Democratic gerrymanders kept getting thrown out as illegal and I kept getting bounced around. Think I was stuck with a Democrat in Southwest Houston in the 80s. Had a liberal Democrat in Austin. So other than Archer, the last rep I liked was Alan Steelman in Dallas and he was running for the Senate first time I could vote and lost to Lloyd Bentsen.

Pretty bad that I've voted for a US representative I liked only 3 or 4 times in over 40 years of voting.

What's really funny about this is that absolutely nothing has changed on my end. Why don't you try to find one thing that I said when I was a "quality poster" in your estimation that differs in any material respect from what I am now saying now that you view me as a "confused old man"? What has changed is not me but you.

At least I've never pretended to be what I'm not.
