I know it’s been debated here many times, but I’m in the keep Lawson camp. It’s a hockey barn and what makes us unique. Also, sharing a hockey arena with another hockey team would rid the ice and boards of any wmu placement (you can’t swap ice designs). What are you going to have, generic ice designs or one that says just “Kalamazoo”. That’s pretty tacky playing in the NCHC.

I don't disagree with you in terms of what I would prefer to happen. I just think with the current budget situation and our economist President, Lawson is on the chopping block. They already shut down Gable.

I get is costs money to operate Lawson. But it would also cost money to join in a shared downtown arena not knowing for sure how the revenue would change going there. I just hope hockey stays

No kidding. I don't see any arena replicating the Lunatics and overall environment that Lawson brings.
