Really good hire for them. Ace recruiter familiar with our recruiting area and who has a track record developing players in a modern offense system.

He was Saquon Barkley (2018 1st round 2nd pick) and Miles Sanders (2019 2nd round 53rd pick) RB coach at Penn State. He turned the Miss State RB corp into bulldozers. Then he went off to Alabama to make Najee Harris a first round pick.

Huff has the look of a leader, watching him mic'd up you can tell that. He looks like a players coach. He will also bring his Alabama recruiting contacts which could be valuable.

It will be interesting to see how many players he was in contact with that now actually signs with Marshall. Also since his recruiting area was Alabama, Mississippi, Eastern Louisiana and Southern Tennessee will he draw from those area's also. In the past 15 years we have had that many players from those states minus Tennessee.

He'd be crazy to do it. He's going to be on several short lists for NFL coaching jobs in the near future.

Whenever Byron Leftwich is mentioned, I remember the game in which he was an injured QB and unable to walk or run so two linemen formed an arm sling and carried him from play to play during a drive. I don't remember the opponent or the score, but I will always remember the grit he showed, and the loyalty his players showed in supporting him.

Here's the clip you wanted.
