Since we're thru the 1st week of the playoffs, I'll reveal my team. Mine is the one with 0 points, kps7179.

QB: Rodgers - GB
RB: Aaron Jones - GB
RB: Clyde Edwards-Helaire - KC
WR: Davante Adams - GB
WR: Tyreek Hill - KC
TE: Kelce - KC
D/ST: Chiefs
K: Mason Crosby - GB

I thought choosing the RB position was the most difficult for this set up. I somewhat regret choosing Kamara because I don't have any faith in the Saints (I think they'll lose this weekend), but to me there isn't an obvious second RB.

Interesting strategy to go completely with the teams that you expect to be in the Super Bowl. I'd be shocked if GB isn't there, but the road seems to be more difficult in the AFC. I think Buffalo has a shot.

Its all a balancing act. I personally dont think GB makes it, I think NO or TB beat them, and the AFC is obviously tougher, but KC is a different animal. Hard to bet against them.

I think that GB will host TB next weekend, but I'd be surprised for Tampa to spring the upset. It's not that I think GB is great, it is just that I think NO and TB are just average. I haven't been impressed by either of them this year.

In terms of who can win it all, I'd say KC, Buffalo and GB have the best chance, and it's hard to count out Baltimore with LJ.

I've done this a few times before and always just choose the players from the teams I think will meet in the SB. Usually I do pretty well. Last year I picked all Chiefs players.

Bricks is smoking us all, but, he went heavy on GB and Buff, so he will have less multipliers than the guys behind him in the SB.
In a bit of Divine intervention Drew Nicholas is bagging groceries towards the bottom again! Serves you right Dan :)

What a game! Not all that competitive, but surprising. Shutting down KC's offense was the only way I could hold on, so that worked out well for me.

I'm interested to see what Chicago gives up for Wentz in the next day or so. From what I've been reading, it sounds like the deal is all but done and they were waiting until after the SB to announce...Foles, offensive player (Anthony Miller) and a future 1st ('22) for Wentz and a future late round pick.

I'm good with that. If Wentz returns to being a top 15 QB, his contract is reasonable and they can still take the best available at 20 this year (likely an OT). The defense is at a win-now stage, so let's be aggressive...NFC North is there for the taking. If he Wentz sucks again next year, we're blowing it up (without a 1st), but we can go after Leftwich.

I'm surprised you are putting so much stock in Wentz. He obviously has talent, but, there is something there and he just hasn't been the same. Who knows, maybe a change of scenary will do him good. I'm interested to see who the Pats end up with.

Wentz isn't my top choice. I'd prefer Watson or Carr, but I'm not sure their cost or availability. If the rumored package for Wentz is accurate, I don't think the cost is too high. If he's as bad as he was this year, then giving up a first is obviously too much, but I don't mind going all in with this core. If we try to trade up to grab Wilson or Lance, they'll take time to develop. Wentz gives Nagy a chance to prove that Mitch was holding the team back and that Nagy is the guy. If it fails, we bring in the new regime with a chance to figure it out by trading all veteran assets and going full rebuild.

I recognize Mitch was pretty bad for a while, but with him behind center last year the bears were solid, as was he the last 8 games or so. So you are ready to just move on from him? He's a FA, no?
Also intersting the Texans are said to not even be taking calls. That organization is so dysfunctional....

The Eagles trading for Nick Foles is absolutely hilarious if true.

I'm not certain Mitch is the problem. Nagy shares some blame and it will be interesting to see how Mitch does with a different coach. Post snap, Mitch struggles to read a defense and locks in on the primary target. I think that gives him a pretty limited ceiling, but he can still start in this league. Nagy wasn't willing to tailor the system to the QB strengths. It's not so much that I'm ready to give up on him, but the coaching staff already has.

since it will be an interesting offseason, I'll create a thread in off topic to chat. Not that we have much else to talk about right now
