I watched the scrimmage today, he looked solid.

He cleared. Blash says it was a roster management move to give them flexibility and help with his recovery from surgery.

Unfortunately, this feels like Kronwall and his knee. He's never going to be 100% again & it will require days off. But, on some nights, he might still be able to contribute. For where the Red Wings are in their rebuild, doesn't really seem like it makes much sense for them to hold onto him.

Watched the Wings the other night, I believe he finished the night +3 w/ an assist.

Doesn't seem like your average Wing fans is too pleased w/ him right now, but they're kind of mad at everyone in the organization right now.
