The thing about ULM is . . .
They have proximity to talent . . . much better than Arkansas State . . . and better than Texas State (look at NFL data/demographics/D1 FBS programs per state).

I know they struggle financially but if they ever get the right leadership they could do some things . . .

Agreed. I am just hoping the Bowden hire and talk of Rich Rod and other assistants, as well as President Berry making the ULM Foundation help fundraise means he is committed to athletics. I have heard he is, but we shall see. It would be great for the SBC if we get our program trending in the right direction.

Arkansas State and ULM have traditionally been in the same boat but Arkansas State had leadership step up and align - System President, Chancellor, and AD have been on the same page the last decade - putting football a priority as the front porch of the University . . . football success = marketing = recruiting students . . . visibility

We are in a sneaky good area for Recruiting if we can take advantage.

Louisiana obviously has some guys even in Monroe itself.

East/ North Texas is within driving distance. Miss juco kids. We put it together we can be ok

We just need to get better to get the town on board. Still a weird amount of former alum/ townspeople weird about the nlu switch plus we've sucked ass forever

In Jonesboro the businesses that have Red Wolves on windows really impresses potential recruits . . . the city is all in on the Red Wolves . . . and it makes a difference!
