The fact we did not make the title game this year is sticking in the craw of a lot of players. They want to correct that.

Good to have them both back. Need to have them & the rest of the D watch the Peach Bowl to see Cincy's intensity on D. We need that effort. I'm convinced we'll have a better offense coming in. Couple that with an elite D & we'll be hard to beat.

Most teams are going to get a lot of good players back.

Agree, the competition will make the eventual starter better. But more than that, I think we'll have a team not thinking they're missing their star running back & star receiver plus we have some solid returning players, solid redshirts & great recruiting class. Looking forward to it. And hopefully the staff can adjust the play calling too.

BW was good but our running game was weak this season. I expect a better run game next year & better defense. That could easily make for a better team & record next season.

I hope you are right but I'm concerned about the quarterback situation.

I'm always concerned too with a new QB but we've had to 3 good ones in a row. My primary concerns are about whether the staff can adjust it's offensive approach given the talent on the field. I didn't think we did that very well this season. Maybe Gainwell & Gipson were just that much better but we seemed to have very poor run-pass balance this past season & virtually no big play runs compared to the past 2-3 yrs. If our QB can at least be a threat to run that will help too. It would give use another dimension we haven't had since P Lynch. Expecting the D to take a step up too.

Our weakened running game is why I gained even more appreciation for Brady White this season. And our much-maligned O-line.

Agree BW did a phenomenal job given the run game was poor & he was throwing to all new receivers.
