What an embarrassing day on and off the field.

It is a blow to the AAC's positive perception by the media and fans when a ranked AAC team falls to a previous 3-7 SEC squad. It makes us look small time.

It is now up to Cincy to elevate the AAC. It is an unfair expectation.

More fodder why AAC doesn't belong. Only 1 top 25 team isn't a good look. Aresco can't pull off miracles if the programs play like this.

I seem to remember an ugly incident between Memphis and BYU in a bowl game a few years ago. I wouldn’t throw those stones like that.

I wasn't referring to the fight. I just hate being in the same conference as Tulsa. But we did win the game and the fight.

This AAC bowl season has been a disaster. Hopefully, Cincy can salvage what has been an absolute embarrassment of a post-season.

Tulsa's biggest problem was themselves today. The offensive play calling was absurd at times considering how the QB was struggling to make long throws most of the game. And yet, they kept going back to those plays. That said, they spent too much time trying to act tough on the field and lost focus on the game at hand. Let your talking be the play on the field and not words during the game or after. Feel awful for the Tulsa safety that had to be helped off the field. They said he was having trouble breathing. I hope that kid is going to be ok.

I don't blame Tulsa for being angry after that cheap shot on the onside kick followed by the MSU player standing over and talking smack after. That was classless in the lowest way possible. Still doesn't help the perception of the fight though. No one ever comes out looking good.

People will remember the fight, not the game. I follow the AAC pretty closely, and I remember a big fight between Memphis & BYU a few years back, but I genuinely don't remember who won the game without looking it up.

I mean if you are going to thug against a last place SEC team, might not want to crap the bed.

I think Memphis won but I recall BYU talked sh!t got hit.
