Offensive lineman Liam Dobson (6-3, 340), formerly of the University of Maine and now in the NCAA Transfer Portal since Dec. 16, announced via Twitter Dec. 28 he was offered a scholarship by Central Michigan.

A senior with one year of eligibility remaining, Dobson also reports offers from Toledo, East Carolina, Old Dominion, Western Kentucky, Middle Tennessee State, Florida International, Arkansas State and Texas State.

A 2019 FCS All-American, Dobson is a 2017 graduate of Ottawa (Ont.) Canada Prep Academy where he was teammates with current CMU defensive back Brandon Brown. Dobson is rated a top NFL prospect.
