I may be the biggest idiot in the world for choosing to get Flo this year.

"We're" the biggest idiots in the world.

I'd buy it over again based on the same situation. Wish it was cheaper, and wish it was part of ESPN, but it's not. So I'd rather over pay to see new coach, players, and arena.

You guys gotta plan your Flo subscription better.

Start with the CAA tournament and work backwards determining the best time to subscribe to get the best bang for your buck. Don't actually sign up until GameDay.

Be willing to miss a game or 2 if its not cost efficient

Well...that didn't age well. Was really looking forward to watching the girls doubleheader this weekend.

The truth is nothing except vaccination is going to stop the virus entirely. "Good behaviors" and masks will just slow it down some, but we will still see teams getting it. Just too many paths/vectors to control everything. The best any of them can do is reduce the probability and frequency of infection.

The conference and NCAA tourneys will be interesting if they go forward. Will a single covid case disqualify a team? What about the team they most recently played against? Certainly opposing players come within 6 feet while playing. This year winning tournaments could be a bit like playing Covid lotto. You can improve your odds, but not guarantee the results if teams are easily DQ'd.

You're right on both counts - which is why I just have viewed all sports so far this year as an exhibition.

One example of tourney chaos: We did have fall sports in NH (with a lot of modifications). In one of the playoffs, they had 2 semifinals on the same day..but spaced out by about an hour. School A beat School B in the early game. (I'm too lazy to look up the actual schools right now.) However, at halftime of the later game between School C and School D, it was announced that someone on School A just received a positive test result...which meant School A had to withdraw...and School B was already eliminated (and would be going into quarantine anyway)...so it was announced the 2nd semifinal game would suddenly become the championship game.

I'm glad seniors get their their last shot to play, but all results have to be taken with a grain of salt.
