Tulsa's really taken advantage of the upheaval. Coming out of nowhere to compete for the football championship. Getting our first All American in 30 years and our first nationally rewarded player in something like 50 plus. Miracle wins in overtime etc...

Downing #5 UH in basketball.

It doesn't make all of the Covid worth it, but it has certainly made it memorable for this fan.

Tulsa finished tied for 1st last year though. While Houston may have been the better team, Tulsa is pretty good themselves.

Yup. Its 20 games full round robin this year, long way to go.

no matter how ****** up the real world is at any given time, like now, sports can make you just feel so much better about things - its amazing what it does to you, when the teams that you follow are having good seasons. so, congratulations to the tulsa guys on here - you've had reason to feel a little better lately

And the Tulsa haters have gone silent, which has cleaned up the board nicely. Hopefully we Pirates can follow and make some noise in '21.

ECU has the potential to be big time. With good leadership you all will get back to the top again.

It has been a great year for Tulsa sports. It's a nice change from living in the cellar in recent years.

I am most impressed by Tulsa athletics. As an objective outsider, it is easy to see that Tulsa is the class of the AAC. Congrats 4ever and the rest of Tulsa fans!

Great year for Tulsa indeed.

Only lost to Cincy by 31 in hoops after losing by 24 the year before.

Yeah, Tulsa haters. You know the crowd that has told them they shouldn't be in the conference since day one? Them.

What are you smoking? Have you seen the comments they've made? Winning a couple games doesn't justify any of it.

edit: It's like the Democrats wanting everyone to come together now after 20 straight years of demonizing everyone that's normal 24/7/365 from every media outlet but one.

Yeah, let's all love Tulsa now. Check some of their posts just the last few weeks. I know personally I've congratulated them on a win several times, and not once have i ever seen them do the same to anyone from Memphis. Did it ever happen? If it did, I've never seen it.

I'll be rooting for them tomorrow, not because I like them though.
