I would expect most of these guys will just redshirt for the rest of the season . They are not playing in the leagues they are playing in , this way they can get on ice and get a jump on their studies to help ease the classes going forward .

No need to redshirt. I think this season does not count for eligibility. Everyone starts next season with the same eligibility they started this season.

I think the more experience we can get these young guys in game situations the better it will be going forward.
