It was a pleasant surprise. Troy hasn't been shooting well from 3, and we've been taking too many 3's.

Scott Cross actually made it a point to score in the paint, which is Troy's strength. I was impressed because we haven't seen much of that so far this season.

Curious how today's game goes...

I wonder in some of the more contested games, how chippy does game 2 get when the same guys are banging on each other less then 24 hours later???

GaSo takes game 2. We made a run early in the second half, to take a 1 point lead, and then promptly scored like 8 points in the last 15 minutes. Thin bench, quick turn, second games could be tough for us in the quick turns this season.

Our second leading scorer missed both games against GS. Not only were we playing with a thin bench, but we also were playing with a couple players in foul trouble. That’s not a good recipe for us to win.

App beats Troy by 31 after losing by 13 the day before. This back to back schedule is going to be a wild ride.

Game 1
LR 102 UTA 93

Game 2
LR 75 UTA 62

As you can tell by the score, play was slower in game 2.
We’re currently missing our starting pg for an unknown period of time for disciplinary reasons.
