I would say he is at least 6'. I have stood next to him (I'm 6'1") and he doesn't seem noticeably shorter than me. My recollection was the he was actually taller in person than I expected him to be.
He measured slightly over 6. Im not sure thats the case but its not Like hes 5-9

Hey he still has 3 inches and 30 pounds on Doug Flutie, who also took hits... and he played before the rules were put in place to protect the QB. And if Favre is listed at 6'2", chances are he is 6'1". The "official" numbers are exaggerated across the board. While it isn't likely 100% accurate, I still think they can be used as comparisons. I think the original question that started this argument is valid... are some more injury prone or are some just lucky. I mean wouldn't the same hit at the same angle from the same lineman break Brett Favre's bone just as much as it breaks Taylor Heinicke's?

I'm no Doctor but I'd say no. There's a bunch of things that could be different. Bone length, thickness & density. Muscle and fat mass at the point of contact.
I think some people are more injury prone than others for sure, whether TH is IDK. It could have just been unlucky to this point. Hell he had a self inflicted wound that kept him from a start while in Carolina. That's pretty misfortunate.
edit: But I don't think his size alone disqualifies him from success in the NFL.

He was targeted in the home game we played against Georgia Southern (which drew a flag and, in my opinion, should have gotten the GS player disqualified) and he bounced right back up. I know the hits are a lot harder in the NFL but I am hoping he just had a bad string of bad luck injuries. Even if he isn't durable enough to be a QB1, I would think after Saturday's performance, he must be in the top five of a lot of NFL teams QB2 list.

The durability issue is almost a bigger problem for QB2, which I think is why he was out of the league before this miracle run this year. You can't have a backup QB that is going to get knocked out of the game easily, because then you have nobody left.

I think his biggest problem is I believe he ran out of practice squad eligibility (pre new covid rules)

His biggest problem is that every time he had a decent opportunity with an NFL team, he suffered a significant injury and couldn't play. At that point it is always next man up and Taylor got moved down the list. When you're starting from 2nd, 3rd, or 4th position on that list it doesn't take much to remove you off of it completely.

Not sure how much pure luck has to do with it.
What have you been smoking? Drew Brees is listed at 6’ 0”. He is taller than TH. Taylor is 5’11” at best. Taylor weighs 205, soaking wet with winter clothes. Favre is 6’2” and played at 233lbs.
Wiki lists TH as 6’1” and 210 and Favre as 6’2” and 221.

History. Facts. Says no. Have you ever watched an NFL game? Do you know how violent it can be? The avg career is 3.3 years, the average QB career is right at 3 years, 48 games. Yet thru it all Brett Favre played in an NFL record for ALL players all positions in 297 consecutive games. That number grows to over 300 when you count playoff games. Only Father Time broke that record. So the answer to your question is not just no, but hell no.

When he came to ODU he was 5' 11" tall and weighed 170 lbs. It's certainly possible to grow another 2" since then.

That's how I was. I was around 5'9 or so when I graduated high school. By the time I was 21 I was like a smidge over 5'11. When I stood beside TH he was taller than me.
