Horrible academics, terrible basketball and basketball attendance, pitiful bowl tie-ins, all in with a horrible ESPN contract, Tuesday and Wednesday night games and saturday games on ESPN 3 /+

Yes their football has gotten better but that doesn’t replace 25 years of being the cellar conference and the other pitiful attributes.

It took the worst Tech football team in recent history for the Sunbelt to finally get their first win against Tech.

There's plenty more. Still trying to get Tech's AD's old comments on "Lafayette" from a few years back...

His comments were from this year. We were trying to line up games. There was talk of short term scheduling alliances. Maggard was on local TV and stated something about regional games getting scheduled. He specifically mentioned La Tech.

Then LaTurds AD released that statement. He was fired soon after.

Yup, he wasn’t fired. He left for a lesser position at Vanderbilt if I remember correctly.

They really don’t want to compare Saturday TV appearances the last two years.

CBS Sports Network sounds way more impressive than it is.
