QB Levi Lewis and OL Ken Marks. There my be some other notable names but I’m not 100% sure.

RE: Returning Players
Chadwell said he expects the vast majority of seniors returning. We are losing Tarron Jackson and CJ Marable for sure as they pursue NFL aspirations. A couple others still deciding.

80-85% of a large SR class returning... Explains the smaller than expected 2021 class just signed. We are basically trading half a dozen raw 18 year olds, for 6 starter quality 23 year olds.

Jalen Virgil now coming back. That's 3 of the top 4 top WR's from the past two years that will be back. Still waiting on slot receiver Malik Williams.

RE: Returning Players
THe only schools I've seen that are losing players are Marable and Jackson from CCU. Thomas, Shemar and an OL at App.

For UL, OL Marks, QB Lewis and NG Humphrey have all announced they are coming back. Lots of speculation we'll lose both Mitchell and Ragas, but neither has made an announcement and it doesn't look like they are in a hurry to make one.

Outside of those two, we expect most to return.

RE: Returning Players
Returning:
Aaron Dowdell (offensive lineman named all-conference for 2020)
JD King (lead the Sun Belt in rushing before his ACL tear)
Darrell Baker (guy with lots of experience in the secondary)

Not returning:
Raymond Johnson (defensive end, not surprising at all, could be drafted in the NFL)
Rashad Byrd (linebacker who has showed up on more than one all-conference list over the years)

Key guys we're waiting to hear from:
Shai Werts (he made his approval of the hiring of Doug Ruse as our new OC pretty clear on Twitter)
Randy Wade (one of the better line-of-scrimmage linebackers in the league for sure)
Drew Wilson (starter on the OL we'd like to have back)

Ferrod Gardner, Chauncey Manac and Joe Dillon are big pieces that would really help if they came back. Even more than Ragas and Mitchell. We have solid backs behind them.

Todd Bradley-Glenn (depth piece at ILB, major injury history, played well down the stretch this year after Ellis opted out. Ejected from bowl game for targeting)

Rashad Byrd (linebacker who has showed up on more than one all-conference list over the years)
Ryan Langan (long snapper, doubtful he gets drafted at that position, but I think he should get a shot at NFL because he literally never had one bad snap his whole career)

Added a couple you missed.

RE: Returning Players
OFFENSE

Only one senior on the two deep offensive line, and he is coming back. That's center Dylan Bradshaw. This unit was already going to be very experienced. Only one senior at running back, and that's B.J. Smith (2019 Preseason OPOTY). Not sure if He's coming back or not, but we are loaded for bear at running back. No seniors at QB, though JUCO All-American Parker McNeil has transferred out. He didn't have a full spring, and if I remember his fall was cut short as well. Just didn't have time to pan out, in my opinion. Troy did inherit a former Missouri QB, and he will challenge Watson and Free. At receiver, We have four starting seniors. So far, Reggie Todd has stated he will return for another season. No word on the other three guys.

DEFENSE

Troy only has two seniors in the entire two deep defensive lineup, which is unheard of. It was gonna be an experienced year for them no matter what. There is no information yet as to whether backup Safety Kyle Nixon, and starting defensive end John Hines will be back. The status of third string nose tackle Elgin Griffin is also unknown.

SPECIAL TEAMS

Troy uses three of it's four senior starting receivers at the kick return position, so it will be interesting to see what comes of that. Clear everywhere else.

This is a very experienced Troy team, even without returning seniors. Hopefully that experience isn't evened out by teams that want to return their entire roster of seniors.

RE: Returning Players
Not sure but granting an extra year was an awful decision. Football did not miss a season like the spring sports. Lots of HS players and Jucos are going to miss out on the opportunities they worked for just so players who should have graduated by now can get an extra year. It's just chaotic and unnecessary.

From our fan board and input from a player's Dad, Elijah Mitchell will be back. Nice!

Mitchell, Chris Smith & Emani Bailey is best guess for RB rotation in 2021.

I really like Byrd. Quality young man that App recruited really hard. Really torn between us & GASo and his Mom was really sick at the time and he wanted to be close to home. Can't blame him for that at all. Never heard about his Mom. Very nice lady and I sure hope she recovered.

3 OL at App aren’t coming back.

Looks like ULM’s QB is opting back into the program after he opted out.

Great kid and he will be missed. Best I can recall his mom is now doing ok. He formed quite a bond with Coach Anderson at stAte when he was dealing with his wife’s cancer; just a quality kid, loved having him here, pretty good LB too! Lol

Christmas 2021 surely came early this year with manac, Mitchell, LL and others coming back. Not to mention Napier. 2021 for the Cajuns will make 2020 Cajuns look mediocre. GEAUX Cajuns!!!

According to BOP: "Patrick Toney said he expects the defense to return intact. I don't need to state how big that is."
