Final Ranking - Are We In
Preface this by saying that I haven’t done all the math. But based on game results it appears that Memphis will be one of around 37 teams to finish the season with a win. That said, will we be ranked in the final poll?

Not likely. We beat FAU.

We might get in to the 25 spot on name recognition alone.

RE: Final Ranking - Are We In
Not likely, but we will end up being very close; probably 30th. We are at #36 in the AP poll right now.

23 Liberty is playing #12 Coastal Carolina
24 NC State is playing Kentucky
25 Oregon is playing #10 Oregon
26 Oklahoma State could lose to #18Miami
27 Army could lose to West Virginia
28 Buffalo is playing #30 Marshall
29 UCF will fall behind us
30 Marshall is playing #28 Buffalo
31 Ball State is playing #22 San Jose State
32 Washington's game is cancelled
33 UAB's game is cancelled
34 North Dakota State is 1-0
35 TCU is playing Arkansuck

We will move ahead of UCF, and without the bull**** bias, we should move ahead of North Dakota State, UAB and Washington. IF TCU, Ball State, Marshall, NC State and Liberty lose, we should jump ahead of them. 30th seems about right. Not bad at all for having a first year head coach, new DC, OC calling the plays for the first season, and losing 89% of our offense from last year.

Wonder if we can fix it so we can play ourselves. That way we could guarantee a win.

RE: Final Ranking - Are We In
Possible, but not likely.
Just glanced at last year's final rankings. Both UCF and Cincy were in the final polls with 3 losses.
Of course, everybody played more games last year.
Then again, Brady is getting a lot of national respect and recognition right now. So that might get us a few votes.
I'm guessing we're in the 26-29 range.
