RE: CUSA 2020 Season Bowls
The Texas Bowl was just cancelled (TCU covid issues). I think CUSA's main problem this bowl season was enough of their bowl games weren't cancelled.

And they were still trying to sell me tickets last night. Kind of like Rice .... Please buy season tickets, but you can't come in.

Oh please this game should have never been scheduled, I don’t care they are a SEC team...a 3-7 record shouldn’t be rewarded....yes I know they narrowly lost their last game to Bama 52-3...but they did score first. The NRG folks thought they could get the Hog fans to rush and buy tickets like Texan fans do.

At least Rice offered 3 options for season ticket holders, one being a refund.

Another come-from-behind save by Bama.

Houston has lost its last 4 bowl games. Their 13-1 team in 2015 defeated Florida State in the Peach Bowl.

Rice last went to a bowl game in 2014.

Yes, they are getting to more in a more competitive conference. Not trying to throw shade at them but they have to be frustrated with their results.

And they still want me to renew my basketball seats now even though they can’t tell me if or when fans will be allowed in the gym.

Well, CUSA matches the ACC bowl game record at 0-6.

RE: CUSA 2020 Season Bowls
From reading a different thread in the college sports and conference realignment section, the AAC was 1-5, the Pac 12 was 0-2 and CUSA and the ACC were 0-6. But I'm guessing the only conference with stories on how bad they are is CUSA.

The bowl season this year is meaningless (outside of I suppose the CFP). Bowl games are being canceled left and right at the last moment, so you have some conferences with its best teams not playing while teams with losing records play games instead. Even the games that are being played feature decimated rosters. Florida's coach said after its blowout loss that they shouldn't have even played.

CUSA still has a winning percentage in bowl games since 2010 (by a decent margin). Throw out this year's bowl season and don't worry about it too much.

I've been more worried that we're in CUSA than about CUSA.

In that context, I would worry most that we aren't doing anything to get into a better league than CUSA.

Lets see what happens next year if this is a continuous trend. However, I agree the conference is bad especially when you have a comissioner with no vision.
