Stat line from SO year from the mlive article: 23.1 pts, 9.7 reb, 3.5 steals and 3.0 assists. Wow. Career high 41 points.

UT has a history with Standish-Sterling, as the alma mater of Kelly Walker. Walker is reportedly the last D1 player from that school - til now.

Not that rankings really matter, but Prep Girl Hoops Michigan appears to have Fegan ranked as the #2 prospect in MI in the '23 class. (I say appears, because the articles are behind a paywall.)

Oh, and they have Dykstra as the #5 prospect.

From looking at her twitter, looks like she plays on the same AAU team as Sinai Douglas, and maybe Brooklyn Vaughn and Kendall Braden - can't find a roster, so not sure.

So a a couple jacked kids wearing shirts indicating they were visiting recruits. Bad timing if the game outcome matters.

Also, although not a UT recruit, I saw today that Buffalo got a verbal from 2022 PG Lexi McNabb, out of Arizona. She is the daughter of Donovan McNabb. Have not been able to find out what other offers she had, if any. Legette-Jack's playing at Syracuse may have given the Bulls an inside track to this commit. Unknown if she will be a big time recruit or not, but will certainly be a PR coup for UB and bring them media attention.

Syracuse has an interim coach this year. There is speculation among Buffalo fans that Legette-Jack will get the job next year (and take a few Bulls with her).

Rockets have a verbal from junior Cadence Dykstra, who is more of a old-fashioned pure PG, but looks like her younger sister might be a bigger catch as a scorer.

You may hit a paywall when trying to access that page - I did the 1st time, but later it came up, so ymmv. Anyway, Fegan scored 36 point in a 53-12 victory for Standish-Sterling over St. Louis. She had needed 11 to break 1000. The career scoring record at Standish-Sterling is 1599 held by none other than former Rocket great Kelly Walker. That seems well within reach of Fegan with almost 2 full seasons to play. She seems to be a good one, and I hope the Rockets hang onto her verbal commit over the next year.

Would like to see us take a look at 6-4 Jr post Mary Meng out of Midview HS near Cleveland. I reffed one of her games and with a little bulk and a couple of years learning the college game could be a terrific player for the Rockets. I don’t think she has any offers as of now.
