Not for a while. We have three centers (Cook, Noveroske, and Garcia) with two years of eligibility left after this year, and a fourth (Brewer) with one more year left after this year. We do have a 6'2" signee for next year, but she doesn't play in the post, as I understand it.

Unsure what 6'2 signee you are referring to. Fegan is typically listed as 5'11.

And speaking of Fegan, she gets MHSAA Performance of the Week honors:

There is a short interview with her embedded in the story.

Yeah, I was talking about Fegan. I must have mis-remembered.

Fegan had a triple-double - 42 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists in Standish-Sterling's 76-22 win last night.

Interesting tweet from UT WBB yesterday. Is this trying to entice Q to come back for a 5th year, or has she already told them she plans to come back? Hmm.

That is one of the more remarkable stat lines that I have seen. At least 64 or her team's 76 points were scored or assisted by Fegan. (I say at least because some of her assists could have been three-pointers.)

Stats like that really make you wonder how the competition level she is facing will prepare her for this level of basketball though.

Cadence Dykstra's West Catholic team is 7-0. Dykstra is rated by Prep Girls Hoops as the fifth best player in Michigan in her class. Her team has already beaten the teams of Michigan's second-rated player (Loyola Chicago recruit) and third-rated player (University of Michigan recruit). (The fourth-rated player is UT recruit Macey Fegan.) Today, West Catholic beat formerly undefeated Rockford, which gave West Catholic its only regular season loss last year. Dykstra had 14 points and 9 assists in the 61-54 victory. Max Preps has West Catholic ranked number one in Michigan, all divisions.
