"We fire our coaches after 8 win seasons" finish a nifty 3-5, and 7-13 their last two seasons. Redshirting all those players last year seems to have turned out to be a good strategy. In 2018, they were sitting at 7-1 and ranked #17 in the country. They are 8-17 since then.

THAT is how your wreck a football program. Going 8-3 and winning your bowl game is NOT how you wreck a program.
