UFC will want to fire Heupel after this debacle. He is constantly writing stuff down on that pad, probably stuff like: list house with realtor, update resume, etc.

I can not decide what is Heupel's best feature, his double chin or his man boobs.

Bowls don't matter. Never have to me any way and less and less over the years as coaches leave and players opt for pros. Now with Covid issues and more opt outs they mean even less. You want to win and they can be fun but for comparison reasons they mean little.

Bowls don't matter.... until the talking heads start running their traps about how the AAC is overrated, and "The bowl championship challenge" (or whatever they call it) proves it.

Nah no one cares enough about any G5 league to gauge their bowl performance, even in normal years.

The only bowl that matters for the AAC in the eyes of the public is the NY6 bowl.

Win that league gets respect...Be embarrassed and be prepared for the 'I told you so's

Yeah for sure.

Ain't nobody judging us because Tulane got cratered in a COVID bowl.

The AAC getting exposed
UCF finished 4th in a down year in the league. BYU challenged for a NY6 bowl. Not exactly an even matchup so it’s not shocking they got stomped.

Tulane wasn't bad as some think. A few mistakes here and there. Should have taken FG on 4th down right before the half. Had the ball with a chance of taking lead when the QB threw one of his 5 ints.

True. If I'm not mistaken, a bunch of key AAC players sat out the season throughout the season

Yeah--unlike other conferences

Are we assuming that is not the case over in the Mountain West Conference?

Stop it. Nevada has a former coach going into the Hall of Fame. They're a good program that nobody ever gets to see east of the Mississippi. Get out of your bubble. I live in Nevada. I know.

AAC is overrated. Our signature win is against a team that is getting boned. It is what it is.

These ridiculous transitive Memphis wins this year is a joke. Anyone not nervous about us against FAU tomorrow needs a blood transfusion. UCF has a better defense than us. Now that's scary.

Here's a cherry on top. The team boning UCF lost to "gulp", Coastal Carolina. The Alabama of Carolina.

Umm, that was my point?

Sorry, but that Tulane team that beat us so badly should not be an underdog to any Mountain West team. They both had the same number of wins by the way. Going into that game.

So badly?

C'mon man.

It was a seven point game late in the 3rd and Memphis had the ball on the Tulane 40 yard line. Even when Tulane was up by 14 in the 4th, Memphis had it 1st and 10 on the Tulane 12.

We had seen Memphis get through that situation a few other times, so the outcome will still in doubt.

Now what they did two years earlier was a manhandling.

I get what you are saying, but I'm not talking about the score. I'm talking about the difference in physicality, especially on the line of scrimmage.

Fair enough.

Including Williams, who lead the conference in catches and receiving yards, and their two best players on defense.
