SC declined to play UAB because there down to 50 ish players. UAB played Rice with 40 ish players.

Maybe UAB can have an Army type outcome where another team opts out and UAB can fill in. But at the same time it's probably difficult to keep players around not knowing if there will be another game or not.

I agree. It’s Christmas and I’d let the team decide. I wonder if Tennessee would play UAB in the cancelled Birmingham Bowl. We are probably done.

At what point do you thank the players for a tough season and say go enjoy the holidays with your family?

Tough call for seniors I know.

I think this year the seniors will be cool with a CUSA Championship and call it a 2020.

Sorry to hear. As conference champ, UAB should be able to steal another team's spot.

Good news for them is that they likely get to be seniors again next year. I’d just call it a year at this point. Going out with the win at Marshall is a high point, and we can build on that for next season.

At that point they may be on Medicare. Or so some tech posters would have you believe
