Lol - the first thing I thought of when I saw this title was the UCF/BYU bowl game which should be a great game. I'll be glued into that for sure. Based upon the other responses in the thread it sounds like we are actually playing UCF in basketball too.
UCF BYU kicks off at 7. UC game will be over by then. Tulane Nevada bowl game kicks off at 3:30.

Watching them UCF’s starting front court looks like they are both around 6’6” 180 lbs. Their guards are almost as tall as their forwards. I think we will be fine.
Rap and Vogt will have less problems at the rim and Eason could have a real coming out party.

That's not TV; you need computer to watch. I understand you can stream, but the point is that it is not part of a basic cable package.
I didn't even know we had a game today. And I would have never even looked until 7:00.
And ESPN+ is not TV.

They aren't huge but they've had a really nice start. Beat kenpom 67 Auburn, beat kenpom 25 Florida state on the road. Lost to kenpom 15 Michigan. Brandan Mahan has been awesome so far and is the kind of guy that has given us trouble all year. He attacks the rim for layups and gets to the foul line (where he is 100% on the season).

Same here. If it was on TV I would flip back and forth. Now I will just watch the score updates on my phone.

RE: UCF Game
I think a win right now would work some magic for UC. I'm not suggesting this is a UC team bound for glory. Conversely, I don't think they can perform much worse than what we've seen in recent weeks. If some shots start dropping for guys who have the ability to score, it probably improves performance at both ends of the court. Here's hoping the performance at Georgia was rock bottom.

RE: UCF Game
Technical and younger, I have subscribed to a cable TV package in 5 years. I now have YouTubeTV on firesticks all over my house. ESPN+ is also available on my firesticks, so it's the same for me and the kids in terms of watching on TV. The way content is being delivered is changing quickly. Before long Spectrum and Cincinnati Bell/AT&T will only deliver the internet to your house and everything else will be streaming subscriptions. Spectrum and AT&T has already started building streaming substitutes for what we now call cable TV. You might as well start preparing, there won't be "TV channels" in the way you currently consume it now.

You are 100% right.
It reminds me of my grandmother refusing to switch to a remote control. She had the 10" x 6" mechanical switch thing, until she died.

Cincinnati Bell is already there apparently. Someone on twitter said he got a huge increase in his monthly rate and when he called they offered him YouTube TV at a lower rate (basically what he had previously been paying for his cable) or to pay the higher rate. Apparently they would not negotiate.

We full on SUCK at offense.
Vogt could easily have 3 fouls

Two offensive possessions in a row, Kw tries to throw a pass 5 feet from the basket to a guy about two feet away, then Eason comes down and runs right over a guy. Bball IQ of zero. point. zero.

Keith already with a bad stepback and a sloppy turnover. DeJulius now under 20% from 3 on the year. Out of control charge from young Eason. Not a great start.

Great finish by Williams there while getting hammered, and I actually love seeing Saunders get in the UCF kid's face about it.

Maybe the flagrant foul will propel the season. To quote the announcer, the Bearcat offense has been "fluid". LOL

Well, that's the most official-aided momentum shift I've seen for the Bearcats in a long time
