Not a fan of this unless it moves the needle on the conference television payout. Also, if anyone is added it needs to be In all sports.

Take them for 3 years and they get no money. Otherwise, they can go screw themselves. They were too good for us until we signed the new TV contract. Now, all of a sudden they want in.

Makes sense to fix the WSU deal.

But I think Boise realizes that it is going to be the AAC champion most years that get the NY6 bowl.

Teams in the MWC compared to the AAC are treated likes teams in the AAC compared to the SEC.

Make them change the damn color of their damn football field before talking seriously.

If you read the story in the original post, their coach certainly understands it.

The "Power 6" marketing effort is genius. We need to double down on the "Power 6", continue to get stronger, & ensure every one of our conference brothers makes the effort to get better. I hate Cincy & UCF as much as anyone but they have helped raise the bar over the last several years. If Boise wants to commit and play at the Grown Up table, bring them on. We better be prepared to continue the arms race as that is our best opportunity to finally get a seat at the table. Not sure anyone else will invite us to their BBQ.

Boise is stuck in their little conference going nowhere. They can stay there.

How would adding a football team in the mountain time zone balance a team in the central zone that does not play football?

SMU and Tulsa are the most westard all sports schools. It is closer from them to the eastern coast teams than it is to BSU.

We do not need to spread conference across the entire nation with part time teams.

Correct.

If Wichita adds football, so be it. Otherwise, no more additions.

The AAC was willing to put up with the headaches when it was thought they were needed. They passed. The AAC moved on and got stronger without them. They’re no longer needed. Now they need the AAC. Sorry, no do overs. You snooze you lose.

Yep, I don’t believe they bring anything to the table that the conference doesn’t already have. Thanks but no thanks Boise.

Drop Tulane and ECU, add Boise, and go to a 9 game conference schedule. Anything else would probably be a waste of time.
