One of the craziest finishes to regulation I have ever seen. Defense wants the offense to score, offense refuses to let the defense let them score, and the back fumbles the ball as the defense is pushing him into the end zone. Just ridiculous 03-lmfao

RE: 2020 Bowl Season
After all that, Coastal Carolina's perfect season comes to an end with a blocked field goal in OT. Absolutely bonkers final 10 minutes. That game was anything but a glorified scrimmage.

Coastal's 15 minutes have officially ended.

One of my wife's best friends teaches there. Never would've guessed that little hick school would be ranked in the top 15 at any point during my lifetime.

I’m glad the “America’s Team” narrative just died.

That. was. a. game! Very impressed with Liberty with the exception of the "trying to get too cute, overthink the end of regulation thingy." CC - we hardly knew ye...

Dallas Cowboys sent them a cease and desist order to stop calling themselves "America's Team" as it is Trademarked.

RE: 2020 Bowl Season
Liberty's lone loss on the season, 15-14 vs. NC State, was due a safety on a bad exchange in the backfield. They played 3 P5 team...albeit two were catastrophically bad, and likely should've beaten all three. They alsl should've played before Coastal before they replaced that game with BYU, but we unable to due to their own Covid Outbreak.

In other words, Liberty is the sole reason why we didn't have any clear contenders for the G5 belt this year lol.

RE: 2020 Bowl Season
In the true spirit of 2020, coaches have lost their minds in overthinking this score/clock thing at the end of games.

The origin comes from that Penn St.- IU game where yes, the running back should have stopped and fallen down just short of the end zone so that they could have run down the clock. PSU was ALREADY UP by one point at the time and DIDN'T NEED TO score. But since he did they only went up by 8 and IU then had enough time to be able to TIE them.

But that Liberty play last night and our play against UCF are just nonsense. If you have a chance to get ahead or get ahead by two scores... I see NO reason not to take the points, clock be damned.

GET. THE. POINTS.

In these instances I don’t understand why they don’t get the QB under center (with a less risky snap) and just take a knee.. having the RB chopping his feet in the open space at the line was asking for trouble. Especially after the first snap when the defense is telling you they want you to score.

Maybe if you're ahead, but the score was tied.

If the score is tied and somebody's giving a TD to you, how stupid is it to not take it?

I'll worry about them tying me later.

RE: 2020 Bowl Season
I liked the call on first down to run some clock, though I would have preferred a safer quick knee.

But after that, I am not trusting a college snapper/holder/kicker combination enough to count on the FG win. I am going for the touchdown.

It’s paralysis by analysis.

Some coach has a sheet that says it’s the right thing to do. It’s stupid as hell. We’ve seen it almost go sideways 2x just this season.

If you don’t think your team can kickoff and stop the other team from scoring a TD from 75 yards out with no timeouts and less than a minute to go, what does that say about what you think about your squad?

Bad defense on display on both sides of the ball in that game. You know a coach has very little faith in his defense when he risks kicking a fg versus running it in for a td versus his defense keeping a team from going 65 or 75 yds to score a td in under a minute with no timeouts.

Oklahoma putting a beat down on Florida in the first qtr 17 to 3. One pick 6 of Trask and another pick that ended in a FG.

Trying not to think about how people ranked both UF and OU above UC

Why does anyone think Trask is a good QB? He throws an awful ball. Sure he put up stats, but how good were sec defenses this year?
