CUSA vs Sun Belt Conference kick off 36 bowl games (counting playoffs)!

The betting line on this has App State as a 21-point favorite and it's not hard to see why. App State finished 8-3 in the better SBC, losing only to Marshall, ULL and Coastal Carolina, three quality teams. UNT finished 4th in the CUSA West, arguably the worst conference this year, with a 4-5 record.

Plus, UNT is traveling a whopping 1200 miles for this game, whereas App State is a pleasant four-hour drive through the Carolinas away. Heck, the game is being played at the Coastal Carolina stadium, which App State visited just a month ago.

Yes, for a game that is not in doubt, it's been fun to watch. The teams are really competing hard and there have been some big plays. Good first half.
