Naw, he’s still butthurt we beat his best Vanderbilt team 10 years ago. He’s a colossal douche.
Yep, that's exactly what i was thinking. I remember he was not a happy camper we beat them. Great game and time though. 70 and sunny on new year's eve.

KC and the Sunshine Band played at halftime!!!
In terms of the "total bowl experience" we still consider that our most enjoyable trip. The weather was unseasonably beautiful; Beale Street on New Year's was special and who can forget Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken?
And then our Bearcats silencing the S-E-C chant late in the game by beating Vandy made it even sweeter.
Great game, I stopped buying lousy bowl seats from UC and got 50 yard tickets for around $50 each. Great weather and we cheered back SEC SUCKS. And we were Walking in Memphis.

I've always gotten the impression bk has a ton of respect for uc and is very appreciative about his time here.

Thanks for doing this 1992. Was thinking I would like to see where all the coaches had UC in one place.

We could have used some of the help from the other G5 coaches.
Troy Calhoun (Air Force) has us at 9, Billy Napier (ULL) at 10, Tyson Helton (WKU) at 8, Will Healey (Charlotte), Scot Loeffler (BGSU); Jeff Monken (Army) all have us at 7.
Part of the problem.

They might help if they were truly attached to their G5 institutions. However, they all want to leave and go to P5 schools.

Agree, hoping the Peach Bowl will overtake it.

I like Manny Diaz at 10. He still probably hurts from Senator Tubberville waxing them at Nippert on a Thursday night.
