The CFP Committee moved Cincinnati up from #9 to #8, jumping over Georgia, even after Cincy barely beat #23 Tulsa.

If #12 Coastal beats #19 Louisiana, I would have to think Coastal probably moves ahead of Indiana and Iowa State, and is ranked #10 with an at-large NY6 bid.

Now, if Coastal would have thrashed Louisiana, then I undoubtedly believe they move into the Top 10.

The committee would not have allowed another G5 in the NY6. We get the one we're guaranteed, but they've already shown their cards that they will not allow us anymore than a taste in the current setup. They will protect the "money makers," regardless of public perception.

Coastal absolutely had to have a Cincy lost to make NY6.

My main concern was more with the commissioner not being more present during the season to talk up our conference and level of play. Canceled games are just 2020 for ya. Win the games you play.

Had Coastal played and beaten Louisiana in the CCG, it very likely would have moved Coastal up in the CFP Rankings.

Iowa State got a NY6 bid as an at-large team, being ranked #10. If a #12 Coastal beats a #19 Louisiana, I think it's very possible Coastal moves up to at least #10, and gets an at-large bid to a NY6.

It's funny that it's mostly UL fans that are complaining about covid-gate conspiracies that puts the entire league office and Coastal working out a deal to keep them from losing to UL (a team which they already beat once this season).

I'm not and it may be true. But I've attended some App State games and know from personal experience that there are some App fans that like to talk trash themselves so it's possible they are jawing with eachother.

Easy, the Sun Belt does what the Pac-12 did and replace the first place team with the second place team. Give App another shot at Louisiana.
