We should get a lot of perimeter shots since I”m sure VW will look to secure the paint.

It was interesting to see Strother at the point. I'd really like to see some of the other players get some PT. I think it's time.

Long is not looking like the answer to losing Wade. Trice and Reese having great games, as they should against VW. Our backcourt is quite suspect, especially without Curry.

For both him and Kalu tonight they basically are, and it shows. Even Ted and Dave just commented that although ODU has a size advantage tonight that won't be the case in most of their games this season.

Were it not for ODU's advantage down low in this game, it would be a much tighter game than it currently is (and right now it is just 56-44). Surely our resident small ball poster can see the huge difference having a strong post game makes to ODU's offense under Jeff. Unfortunately, he hasn't really had much of that during his time here.

Can't believe our freshmen can't even see significant playing time in a home game against a D3 school in their 1st game while you're on your 6th.

I agree, except I was impressed with Strother running the point. The problem is he's supposed to be a shooter and I'm not seeing that aspect of his game.
