I think it has something to do with feeling he can better audition for the NFL in a more pass focused offensive scheme.

Not super surprised.

1. JUCO Players are going to be less transfer averse.
2. No transfer penalties this season.
3. His targets tanked in the second half of the season and the offense isn’t exactly pass heavy.

I liked him at WR, not so much at return man

Yeah I think this is scheme related vs anything to do with Clark. But Shropshire proved in the championship game he'll be a good player next year. Add the Memphis transfer and we should be ok. We'll still be a run first offense featuring McBride.

Could be dead wrong, but I think we all agree Mitch’s ceiling is VERY high given his skill set and intangibles he’s blessed with. I wouldn’t be surprised if he winds up in a P5 program. Guy made some of the most acrobatic catches I’ve ever seen in my life.

Even Rudolph began to get more targets late.

I’m hoping it’s a “targets” move for the next level and not coaching related.

He is an extremely talented receiver and will thrive in a different offense. We definitely have underutilized the talent we have at receiver.

Love Myron, but man he needed another year. Needed to pull a Spencer Brown and work on special teams defense and improving return game while also getting more tape. i don't think this was a good decision but I am also not in his shoes and have no idea what needs he might have.

TD Marshall is more NFL ready than the 4 leaving, and he’s coming back. I’m half and Half on losing all 4. You need some to leave so we can get younger and sign a few in Feb, but don’t mind the experience that would’ve been returning.

Watkins is money from a possession standpoint. No drops this season. Just doesn’t have separation speed against the better teams we played.

I don't follow the NFL much, what are these guys realistic chances of getting drafted? They're all good players but there is a big difference in being good and good enough.

Watkins and Jordan Smith have the advantage of playing in the Senior Bowl. No guarantee they would get that next year. I understand why they would take that opportunity. I think Marshall made a great choice. Gives him one more year of cornerback experience and cornerback game film. I think he'll play in the NFL. Not much more Spencer can do to convince the NFL he deserves a chance. Solid decision by him if he leaves, even though I've seen nothing official. Mitchell is good but not sure he's consistent enough for NFL folks.
