Peach Bowl Pregame: Cincy vs. Georgia
Eff all the noise. We have our opponent so let's get this going. 12 days away and it looks like some of the dawgs have already started to jump ship.

Long-avoided ‘opt-outs’ coming for No. 8 Georgia Bulldogs

Quote:Linebacker and defensive captain Monty Rice, offensive guard Ben Cleveland, safety Richard LeCounte, cornerback D.J. Daniel and tight end Tre’ McKitty are skipping out on Georgia’s expected New Year’s Day bowl to begin preparations for the 2021 NFL draft. Other seniors and several draft-eligible underclassmen are expected to join their ranks in the coming days.

I’m good with all that. Can we get JT Daniels to opt out?

Yeo...if UC should win the game it will be because UGA wasn't playing at full strength.

Don’t care. Put a hot knot on their heads and recruit the hell off of it in Georgia and Florida.

Yup. Don’t care what their excuses might be, we just need to win this one. Takes the program to a new level.

I just bought two tickets. My wife said she's never been to a bowl game and wants to go. The Peach Bowl site said the highest ranked team is on the home side so that should be UC.

Ticketmaster. From what I can tell all the tickets are resale at this point. Although UC I'm sure will have some for sale.

"Fans wishing to attend this year's Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl may still be able to find tickets on Ticketmaster, home to the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl's official resale ticket exchange."

If you would have told me when I was at UC that some day UC would be playing Georgia on new years day in a bowl game...

I'd have slowly backed away from you and contacted the local sanitarium.

I can't go. If any non-season ticket holders want to get tickets from UC through me, let me know. There are 4 price levels starting $131 up to $316

Need to win and let them make whatever excuse they want. They will still be fielding a team full of 4 and 5* players. It’s not going to be easy and it will be a hard fought game, but if we bring out A game we can compete and win. Then we can use that to take our program one step further.

I use the argument with them that those SEC guys say they have better players on the bench that don't play then we have since they were 4 and 5 star recruits. OK...So someone opts out, you should have a much more talented player than we have waiting in the wings. Let's go Bearcats.

We get a scalp and with what we likely have coming back, we could start next season near the top 10 and if we can get ND and Indiana, then we have a legit shot to get into the playoff. It starts on New Years Day.

Don't care. Clemson wasn't @ full strength when ND beat them and ND got credit for such a great (a little sarcasm,) win. If UC wins-- I say UC just beat a top 10 SEC team on the ROAD. That's how I spin it. If they complain that they had people out-- just say UC had people out too.

America will be rooting for UC-- well, fans of college football who want the playoff changed to more than 4 teams will be rooting for UC.

I know with covid 19 this won't be a "normal bowl week", but wondering if anyone has any information on any fan events that may be happening at the Peach Bowl or if anyone has suggestions for celebrating new years eve down there. We have a group of 9 going down. Go Bearcats! Any suggestions on great places to eat and drink are welcomed. We are staying near the stadium.

THIS - is a great opportunity for UC - hope like hell it can take advantage - for recruiting and for national respect and for a great starting point for next year

Flags fly forever. In 10 years nobody will remember who opted out, they will only remember who won the game.

They were talking about this yesterday on the radio. Players will only go down for 2 days...no social events for the teams together, no charity visits to hospitals etc. It's pretty much the game and minimal media requirements because of covid.

I would guess there will be little to nothing for the fans other than the game sadly. I would doubt UCAA is doing much given the short time frame to put something together and the risk of having a covid spreading event.

Will be a much different fan experience than the Orange or Sugar Bowls.
