Thankful Christmas
In Oct 2014 I landed a job at Nissan in Nashville and thought I left Bham behind for good. A new home in a step in city and so many teams to adopt in different sports. But I was also leaving behind an impossible war that seemed with UAB using clubs and spears against the BOT’s tanks and air cover.

I don’t really think about that time any longer - for more reasons than the UAB battle. But here I am thinking about the last few years, what we saw happen this week, and what awaits in 2021. Man, I’m thankful. It’s a tough time medically, but I’m thankful.

Happy Holidays, Blazers!!

Your touching note reminded me of August 21, 1973 when we had a family supper at The Pioneer Cafeteria at Eastwood Mall. Mother suffered a massive heart attack the next morning and died as she was getting ready to go to Bogues for breakfast. The Bell Phones commercial still runs through my memory with Paul Bryant saying one should call their mother and then adding "I wish I could call mine". Give your mom the best for all of us who wish we could as well.
