The op is a prime example of why liberals have no business running this country. Yet, they proclaim themselves smarter than everyone else, which is laughable.

On the other hand... tax raises ALWAYS trickle down. It isnt like they are going to take money out of their own pockets to pay those rising taxes, they just raise the prices of their products so we have to pay it.

DUHHHH... I'LL TAKE GETTING SLUGGED IN THE GUT, PLEASE!

More taxes, hmmm, we're taxed to the brim already. Just because it's not by the fed doesn't mean you're not paying taxes in everything already.

I'm going to try to do a study about how much in taxes (in EVERYTHING) I pay next year, i.e., at the grocery store, utilities, fast food joints, etc. I'm really curious and I'll try not to forget...or get lazy and hopefully I'll be able to find out how much of my money is really gone into the government coffers like the carbon dioxide we exhale, never to be seen again.

Get ready for the largest tax increase the middle class has ever seen. Peasants are gathering too much wealth and the Leftists in the Democratic Socialist Party want to redistribute that wealth to their supporters. The shameless and the shiftless....

Yep. You nitwits that voted for Biden* about to get fricked.

I'll be on the sidelines laughing at them even as it impacts me. Why? Because I didn't vote for the brain addled moron who will do it to all of us.

My income went up, and since Trump has been in office, I got a raise every year, a bonus every year, and my 401K has nearly tripled.

Cry more b*tch.

The dummies.

One you clowns tell me about the poor guy or gal that ever gave you a job.

Start with the basics. Think about it. Basics.

Too simple for the simple.

You bring up a great point in regard to 401k and also company funded retirement accounts. A huge portion of our national workforce in invested in one or the other...or both. The left would make you believe that only conservatives are invested in commodities. The exact opposite is actually true...especially in regard to government jobs and UNIONS.

Everything in my life has rebounded from the unmitigated nightmare that was Obama.

I'm insulated against the upcoming Biden* nightmare.

2020 was a great year for me

Suffer Biden* *******. 0 sympathy. Let it burn.

I got a big fat tax cut under Trump. Soyboy there making minimum wage may not have, but he wasn't paying anything in the first place.

One, "trickle down" is itself a badly flawed mischaracterization of the concept.
Two, other countries enacted even larger tax cuts for the "rich" and corporations, so lots of it "trickled down" there instead of here.
