Yeehaw. Way to win. Good job etc etc etc....

I’ve never been so drained from a season and I didn’t even set foot inside a stadium this year. Glad the season and year is done. Hope Marshall declines a bowl game. So tired of embarrassing losses. UAB dominated It was awesome.

I agree on all counts. I don’t remember when I was so disappointed in a Marshall football season. I have to agree that I see no point in a bowl game that we will likely lose (based on our on field performance the last two games.)

I think I would rather see us decline any invitation and regroup for the future. And, yes, I’m one of the last to this conclusion, but I believe Doc needs to resign or the decision needs to be made for him. There is talent on this team, but Doc seems incapable of finding a way to use it effectively. Too many disappointments in the last several years, losing games when we should have won.

And, just a word to those that think we are in the wrong league. I disagree solely because we can’t get the job done...in any sport, frankly...and until we dominate CUSA we have no right to complain about being in the wrong league. CUSA is all we can handle for the moment. (Although, I still would like to see a combination on Sun Belt and CUSA into East/West leagues to control costs better and create more regional rivalries, but that’s another thread.)

Finally, the power in this league certainly lies in Birmingham and Boca Raton. For four years, these two schools have been the center of our universe in football.

Once again; congrats to UAB for a well deserved win.
