Judging from the box score, looks like Balls is selling out to stop Patterson, but Buffalo’s QB is lighting them up.

After so many examples, I would be cautious ever believing any MAC team is unstoppable, especially if they are playing in Detroit, unless they are Marshall.

Just started watching, wow. Maybe Buffalo looks so tough because they play in the East. I think any team in the West except NIU would be the East champs if they moved, and even NIU would probably be the #2 team.

BSU is doing work... and honestly... there is no reason to think we wouldn't be just carving up this Buffalo defense...

This falls more on Lester for not having them ready and fired up. He’s a great QB coach or OC. He’s not HC material in my opinion. Sometimes you have to be an SOB to make a dream reality! That’s not Tim Lester!

And that's what happens when you are a one-man team... tough break for a guy who may be a 1st round pick.

This just shows you how weak the East is. Buffalo (or more accurately, Patterson) lit up a bunch of terrible defenses all season.

Our offense would be shredding the Bulls right now. This is sickening to watch, knowing our guys had every opportunity to play in this game, but Lester **** the bed.

Who among us can buyout TL and cover my WMU-related gambling debts?

I blame EMU for tonight's loss. We lost to EMU and than almost beat BSU...so clearly BSU sucks right? Ugh.

Buffalo: talk about an offense being exposed without Patterson. They are nothing!!

Ball State was not nearly as bad as some people believe. That said, unless something radical happens here, we had the MAC Champs dead to rights, up 14, and we called a high risk jet sweep on 1st down, let Ball State get ahead of the chains, and that was the confidence-killing play that cost us a shot tonight, more than the howitzer snap.

Ball State took a page out of our book, and they've gone very conservative the last few drives. Allowing Buffalo to creep back in this.
