Definitely.

Omaha has a high powered offense, so there would've been a lot of goals scored in this one no matter what. But, Bussi would've made some saves tonight that Cain didn't make.

If they played their top goalie we would not have put five by him either . I am quite happy with our goalie and do not blame him for the losses outside of the first few blowout games .

We are competing so i am happy .

We need some puck luck for once, and a win badly to end this pod and on to 2021. Competing and progressing needs some results soon.

"All" Freshman go through the process of acclimating to college level hockey. Some adjust real quickly and some just need a little more time.

On top of that, these same freshman are learning to play with in the "system" and Murray is very detailed coach. Some players struggle with this and it can take a while to figure it out.

Hockey is not like football where you have a "Spring" season to work on these type of things.

We are lacking top end recruits right now . The guys that come in as true freshman and look good right away . Conrad , Allison, McGing types . Most all of our scoring is being done by the senior class now and we need secondary scoring . Some think this is a rebuilding year and then we will be good but we are going to have a few of these years in a row imo .

That's a pretty high bar for freshman expectations. The freshmen have looked pretty good to me.

Out of those you mentioned only McGing was dominant his freshman year. They all were drafted a few years in. Same with this class. Think about it, this young class has yet to even play at home. Yes this class doesn’t have an Attard who was pre drafted.
