Trump refuses to do his job
"Solar Winds" cyber hacks and no comment from The Donald.

Just continuing to whine about losing the election.

He's got another month to do the job he was elected to do in '16 and is doing NOTHING re: Pandemic or cyber attacks-national security.

He's an absentee President. Lying about fraud to secure a job he clearly doesn't want and was definitely never good at.

Good riddance. I don't have much faith in the next President, but this current one is a nightmare.

You should re-name this thread “old guys yelling at clouds”.

That would be what Trump is doing in his last month as Coward-in-Chief.

I consider myself a conservative, but Trump is a disaster. The mismanagement and untruths with the virus, the lack of protection and silence about the cyber-attacks, putting people in the Pentagon without any experience during his transition, and on and on and on. He's a mess and not to see that is DENIAL.

Why would he do his job? Biden won, he wants to create as big of a mess as he can before leaving office to screw over Joe.

Hey guys, that vaccine I said probably wouldn't happen and would be 50% effective if we're lucky...

I mean, he did SOMETHING

Dear RunningGame,
Yes, he tried to sabotage everything his corona virus team was advocating, early in this pandemic.

You’re not going to like this analogy, but Lincoln tried to micromanage the Civil War early on, and...

Everyone complained when he wanted to shutdown travel, though in the end it was pointless. Everyone demanded (in hindsight) useless ventilators, he delivered. Everyone wanted more PPE, we scaled up quick. Everyone said we need testing, we’ve got oodles of tests. Everyone who needed medical care got it and we didn’t overwhelm any system or have to ration care.

What else did you want him to do? Keep his foot out of his mouth? Well, that was never going to happen, and if he tried to be Mr. Inspirational, he would still get savaged as an illegitimately-elected racist, probably even more so like his predecessor, Bushitler...

The whole game was always the vaccine, and he delivered in amazing fashion the improbable, provided not too many serious side effects. In the end, history will marvel at the ridiculously-named “Operation Warp Speed” and everyone is going to try to take their own credit for it.

I agree 100%.

This was the first election in over 25 years that I voted Democrat for President. Trump isn't a conservative. He's a con-man.

RE: Trump refuses to do his job
I don't get too political on here, but Trump is a national embarrassment.

I have many international friends and they agree that while the US has always had a checkered past (what country doesn't?), after Trump was elected, we became an outright laughing stock. Nobody takes him or us seriously as long as he is the head of state.

Not only is he morally repugnant, his uncouth behavior is completely unbecoming of his position. He has no decorum, no sense of diplomacy or tact, and carries an extreme "us vs them" mentality. And to a man that takes everything personally, "us" really means "me". He rants and raves on Twitter. He insults anyone that doesn't agree with him and lavishes compliments on anyone that does. It doesn't matter if he's worked with someone for 10 years, as soon as they step out of line and dare to question him, he commits character assassination. "That person is the worst. They've always been terrible. Crooked, weak, slow, etc etc". We've seen it time and again. Why would anyone want to work with or be around someone like that?

And yet he has this cult-like following that scares me. His dictatorial behavior has these useful idiots eating out of his hand. His calculated manipulation has millions of people brainwashed. Insult your opponents, discredit the media, contradict your own intelligence agencies. Make it so they don't trust anyone but him. If you say something enough times, people start to believe it. Fake news this and fake news that. Trump's followers will ignore scientists, medical professionals, professors and subject matter experts, allied leaders, diplomats and foreign dignitaries, every other politician and even our own military and intelligence leaders. Trump has created a situation where his fanatical supporters are intensely skeptical about anything that anyone says, except for Trump. His word is gospel. Just send money to his "legal fund" and buy some MAGA merchandise and he'll make everything okay. He's got all the answers.

Which is insane, considering Donald Trump is the last person anyone should be listening to. He's an uncaring conman, an unapologetic sexist, a failure of a business man, and a generally terrible person. He fails to condemn all the white supremacist and neofascist groups that support him, when given every opportunity to do so. How does someone make over $200 million AFTER the election. An election that he lost! He's a grifter on the grandest scale.

He undermines our democratic institutions, undermines our intelligence community, undermines our allies, and then snuggles up to known dictator, ex-KGB agent, and former director of FSB, Vladimir Putin. He's a treasonous SOB. And yet all the flag-waving morons that make profuse claims about how "patriotic" they are (we all know the type) have no problem with any of this. Dear Leader knows what he's doing. He's just playing 4D chess, right?

Staunch conservatives have had the wool pulled over their eyes. Trump isn't even conservative. He's against free trade, anti 2nd amendment, hasn't done a thing to shrink government or tackle the national debt. And that's just scratching the surface.

Oh, and this is to say nothing about his complete bungling of our Covid-19 response. I mean, we didn't even have a response, really. He downplayed the virus, railed against mask-wearing and shutdowns, and has held countless rallies of maskless individuals in the middle of a pandemic. Again, one might argue that these conscious decisions he's making are going directly against the wellbeing of the American people.

Now you've got me going...ugh

I wouldn't consider myself a conservative or a liberal, somewhere in the middle. I have views that lean one way or the other, depending on the topic. I don't particularly like Joe Biden or most Democrat politicians. But man, Trump just grinds my gears. He's everything a U.S. president shouldn't be.

Mitch Mcconnell is a bigger douche. How does he think 600 stimulus checks are enough? Lol
