Both UL and Coastal Carolina’s teams had “tested completely fine” Wednesday, but apparently there was an unknown issue that arose Thursday.

Yes. The game was a go after Wednesday’s testing. After symptoms were shown by the Coastal coach on Thursday another test was submitted and a positive was the result. Stop being a poon and don’t get tested like a little *****. The game was green-lit the day before.

And just like that, Cincy wins over Tulsa and the issue issue of who should have represented the Belt is rendered moot.

I really hate that this game wasn't played because it would have been a great one! My personal opinion is that UL has more momentum and more experience in these situations and likely would have won, but we will never know. I hate it for the players and fans of both programs. The Coastal program has had an incredible season, but it now left with a question where the championship should have been. Louisiana was finishing strong and has paid dues for three years now and they were robbed of the chance to finish what they started.

I'm not making accusations about why the game wasn't played, but everybody involved was diminished a little bit...except for Louisiana. They were diminished a lot!

Congrats to both programs. Just go win your bowl games for the SBC and so we can have this topic to gripe about for the entire off season! :-D
