In many ways this is the most important role of the president. A lot bigger impact over a generation.

I still don't know if I can bring myself to vote for him. But I certainly prefer him to any of the democrats in the field, and if necessary I can certainly vote against any of them.

Was watching TV last night with the Mrs... we saw a Trump commercial making fun of Biden's loss of mental ability. The wife was appalled about how low the commercial was, how it was very poor taste, and how Trump appears to be a horrible person. Then she said she would still have to vote for him, she's conservative and just can't support the lunacy that the left proposes. I am with her to a great degree, as are millions upon millions of middle America.

The left has spent years screaming about what a horrible person Trump is. We know that, and given a choice we would likely support a more amiable personality.

But we have no real choice.

I have not seen those commercials but whether it’s “mean” or not, it needs to be a central theme. It’s frightening as hell that we can have a guy who is about where Reagan was mentally when he left after 8 years running for the office. Scarier that some people just don’t care.
