Positivity for Tigers Hoops
I re-watched the Tulane game and thought I'd opine on a few things. First, the Tigers won. Road game. Conference. Awesome. Was it pretty? Not by a long shot. Free throw shooting was atrocious, shot selection and decision-making was horrible at times. But on the upside...the energy the guys showed to start the game was incredible. Best I'd seen in a long time. Everyone was on board with the others. We need that to continue. Right now we don't look like a preseason #2 conference team, but I think we can get there.

We look really good when we are making outside shots.

RE: Positivity for Tigers Hoops
Jayden swished 4 free throws in a row all net --2 while standing alone on an ugly green stage...
He turned it around there at the end....

I love our team. And yes, they won. I've watched it twice so far.

Tulane has never been an easy place for us to win. (I didn't check on that statement. I read it somewhere, so have at it, all ye refuters)

Jayden looked a lot like his dad at the line.

Bump layups by 20% and free throws by 20% and it's a blowout. Both of those are doable.

RE: Positivity for Tigers Hoops
I was encouraged by the first 10 minutes. I saw players moving off the ball and I saw inside the arc passing. Both things we have sorely lacked. I am also encouraged that Penny is "taking the reins" on offense. He said he has been focused on the defense, but is now taking over the offense.

Yeah, and I think Josh was the last one to lose to Tulane.

It's a bit more than that, as I suspect you realize.
When we play swarming full court D, we can get open shots.
When we move the ball, we can get good outside shots.
All part of the plan, but not always executed.

The one that went 37-29 and 18-18 in conference and did not even sniff the NIT his last two years here.

LOL--thats laughable -you can't be serious !---yeah and I think its Davey Johnson's fault the Mets haven't won a world series since 86----and Weeb Ewbanks fault because the Jets havent won a Superbowl since 69---actually it's really BROADWAY JOE'S fault.

Just because I put in two more years than Jethro --don't let my edumincation intimidate you. I hate you outed me---because of my modesty -- I write to the level of my peers like yourself ----now people will think I am all uppity because of my edumincation. My family are sworn to secrecy about my inclusion in the MENSA INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION ---and now because of you, people will think I am another Einstein . I hope my fellow MTO brethren, like yourself, don't start looking at me differently because of my extensive edumincation and massive IQ.
