Depends on the proximity of the source to the campus. The articles i read that singled out App were mountain times, watauga democrat, etc that are close to App. The chapel hill papers will write about UNC students, Durham papers about Duke.

The steroids and HGH stood out to me.

Exhibit A - The first link in the thread is a Charlotte affiliate and only lists App in the headline.

Was the "kingpin" located on App St campus? That could be why Appy is seeing the headlines. Reminds me of the huge drug bust on GS campus in '95, '96. If it's the same GS I remember, I'm pretty sure "beautiful eagle creek" is really bong water from previous raids...

nah the Kingpin had ties to a Mexican cartel. The headlines mentioning App are ridiculous since it was 2 app students 18 unc-ch affiliates and 1 duke student.
