He’s got that long-ball touch that Lucero lacks, but after 45 days of practice over and over again, damned if he didn’t throw into quadruple coverage 10-yds away on his 2nd or 3rd attempt. We have to ride him at this point, but the little we’ve seen of him in 2020 hasn’t been much or any improvement from 2019.

People complain about the OC not establishing those mid-range crossing routes. Given the small samples we’ve seen, I don’t know if I would be comfortable expecting TJ3 to make those throws.

Run the ball !
Make them adjust and take advantage. If possible.
That is our offense.

Our entire passing offense is driven by the run. Our long balls and deep throws almost always come off playaction and the safety's playing up

His decision making is still not very good, which is disappointing for a player with his level of experience. His short to mid range passing ability is also not very good. His long ball is great, and he is fairly mobile when needed. I'm pretty I remember the play the OP was talking about early in the Rice game, and it also made me cringe.. If he can have one or less INT, we should be in good shape.

Him not throwing a pick in the Rice game almost makes it feel like he's due for one. Hope I'm wrong!

He's the man, though. He's had great games and very bad ones. We run the ball, try to play to his strengths when we pass, and throw long once in a while to keep the D honest. We really need a game with low turnovers and penalties, but when wasn't that true?
